    * Joining the Owner's engineering team
    * Overseeing FEED & DE work to be executed by a US based EPC Company
    * Providing process engineering support as part of the commissioning and startup team of the revamp program
    * Planning and executing performance and technical validation steps

    * Analyzing information provided by contractor or from data and making recommendations on design or project requirements
    * Reviewing process engineering deliverables from engineering contractor to ensure requirements are met or deficiencies are identified for resolution, including; PFD's, P&ID's, heat and material balances, hydraulic studies, process simulation and/or datasheets

    Successful candidates require:
    * B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and professional Engineering designation
    * Must have PM status
    * 8 - 12 years' experience as a Chemical Engineer; would consider more senior

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for quoting and designing equipment, leading projects, working with trades-people and sub-contractors, and creating customized solutions for the company's clients.

    The Project Engineer is responsible for the design of mechanical parts and the assembly and selection of mechanical and electrical components as necessary to meet the objectives for each assigned project.     Duties include:

    *Quote and design Firefighter Training Systems, including propane and wood fueled training systems;

    *Project leadership will include ensuring projects are completed to standard in a timely fashion and in accordance with customer expectations.

    Other duties include:

    *Work in a multi-disciplinary team which has the responsibility for the manufacture and installation of complete projects;
    *Work with third-party inspectors / authorities-having-jurisdiction for field inspections and approvals;
    *Provide Operator and Maintenance Training, presenting in front of classes of customers/trainees;
    *Adheres to all safety requirements in all aspects of work

    Education & Skills Required:

    *Bachelor of Science (Engineering) required.
    *Professional License (P.Eng.) required.
    *Minimum two (2) years' experience in product design and engineering, preferably involving applications in industrial environments. Strong trade- knowledge in mechanical and electrical fields is an asset.
    *Ability to travel to customer sites (national or international) for installations, training, and meetings. Travel may be approximately 20-30% of the job.

    Main Responsibilities:
    * Manage ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System
    * Lead and train internal audit team to meet predetermined schedule

    * Lead transition to ITAF 16949 and ISO9001:2015 during the next year
    * Manage customer PPAP requests to ensure timely submittal
    * Manage customer 8D corrective action requests to ensure timely submittal

    * Work with Engineering and Production to improve quality of the product and processes
    Must Have:
    * Experience with ISO 9001 based quality management system including internal audits
    * Experience managing corrective actions using 8D methodology

    * Basic knowledge of dimensional prints and tolerances
