    Reports to Production Manager

    Position Summary:
    This position is responsible for planning materials to be used and sequences of operations, setting up and operating machines and equipment, producing precision parts of varying complexity, inspecting completed parts, completing documentation, assembling parts as required and providing training to Machinists.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Plan and verify materials to be used and methods and sequences of operations to be performed on each job as directed by documentation or supervision.
    2. Set up machines and equipment, assuring appropriate feeds and speeds, stops, clamps, fixtures and tooling are selected.
    3. Operate machines and equipment in order to produce precision parts of varying complexity according to customer specifications by interpreting blueprints and drawings while following manufacturing processes and procedures.
    4. Inspect completed parts according to the specifications, including visually inspecting the surface for appearance and non-conformities. Follow procedures as needed to address non-conformities.
    5. Complete required documentation for all jobs responsible for, including entering data into ERP system.
    6. Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly when required.
    7. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
    8. Other duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications:
    * A related machine trades certificate/diploma and two years relevant experience, OR, six years relevant experience.
    * Experience with milling, turning or grinding.
    * Experience setting up and operating machine tools.
    * Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
    * Proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring tools, process planning and inspection.
    * Machine shop math skills.
    * Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
    * Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    * Experience editing programs through machine controls.

    Pipeline Engineer II

    In this role as a Pipeline Engineer II, you will:
    * Resolve issues of pipeline reliability and integrity by working collaboratively with Operations, Integrity and Project teams in analytical assessments and development/execution of solutions
    * Assess the state of the cross overs in collaboration with Operations and Integrity. Under upset or unforeseen conditions where the pipeline facilities cannot be operated as planned, contact and coordinate pertinent stakeholders to generate safe and workable solutions in a timely manner
    * Lead the development of repair packages by co-ordinating with Operations/planners/maintenance co-ordinators
    * Ensure integrity, design, and construction deficiencies are noted, communicated to Pipeline Systems Integrity and Operations, and addressed properly before the utilization of these facilities
    * Coordinate with Operations/Integrity/Projects to ensure any temporary engineering controls specified are in place and mechanical fatigue hazards are managed prior to the use of the applicable pipeline facilities
    * Comply and participate in the work management processes such as Management Of Change (MOC) and Temporary MOCs created and ensure that all MOC/MOCT requirements laid out in the SOPs are fulfilled
    * Assist Operations in writing site specific work procedures that would meet the technical requirements specified in applicable sections of SOPs
    * Contribute to the effective management of O&M and capital projects that mitigate safety, reliability/integrity, compliance and environmental risks while driving creative solutions for optimal utilization of existing infrastructure

    Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
    * University Degree in a Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Materials, Chemical/Petroleum or Civil/Structural discipline
    * Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) registered with APEGBC and APEGA
    * 5 years' progressive experience in high pressure gas pipelines (must)
    * 10 years' experience and demonstrated aptitude in design and construction, operations and maintenance of natural gas (sweet, sour gas) pipelines and pigging facilities
    * Working knowledge of pipeline standards and industry accepted practices, specifically CSA Z662 design code
    * Regulatory application experience with the National Energy Board (NEB), and the Onshore Pipeline Regulations (OPR)
    * Valid driver's license
    * A team player with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

    Specific duties include:

    * Leadership of the Process and Manufacturing Engineering Team. Personnel coaching and creation of working processes to maximize the success of the team.
    * Improvement Project Identification, scoping and execution, both personal and for the group Project tracking and reporting to management team.
    * Works with the site team and operators to establish stable and repeatable manufacturing processes. Solves real time problems in processing. Implements workable solutions in both the short and long term so failure modes are effectively understood and eliminated.
    * Capital Project planning, research, justification, execution and reporting utilizing the annual budget. As well as Departmental expenses management to budget.
    * Training and development of the Engineering team and site-wide knowledge and capabilities.
    * Must be able to identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased efficiency as well as seeking and implementing innovative methods to optimize process and reduce costs.
    * Ability to effectively define problems and through data analysis propose workable solutions to minimize defects and waste. Utilization of belts and have the ability to define and work on data driven six sigma type projects.
    * Working with R&D and manufacturing teams, management of new product industrialization and control procedures, as well as ensuring work is completed in the required time frame and budget requirements.
    * Highly competent in web processing and thin film liquid coating and laminating processes including coating methodologies such as gravure and slot dies. This includes finishing through drying ovens as well as tension controls that will produce consistently good product rolls
    * Ability to effectively handle multiple activities simultaneously and successfully function in a cross functional manufacturing environment
    * Expertise in other processing methods such as vacuum sputter coating also preferred.
    * Full responsibility of departmental expense budget.

    WE are currently looking for an experienced Transmission Field Services Scheduler for our client located in Bluefield, VA!

    Description
    Principal Accountability's :
    1. With guidance, develop fully integrated resource loaded and levelized TFS work schedules that
    optimize maintenance work plans, capital outage work, and other TFS work activities using
    Transmission approved scheduling software and tools.
    2. Comply with the Transmission Outage Management Strategy System (TOMSS) Business Rules
    and Processes.
    3. Manage TFS outage requests, including entering outages into TOA or its successor , verifying
    that all required outages have been entered, and ensuring that all outage requests are approved by
    TOps.
    4. Assist in organizing, coordinating and attending the TOMSS outage coordination meetings.
    5. Coordinate changes to the work schedule when an outage needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
    6. Assist in prioritizing outage reservations to optimize the benefit to AEP both in reliability and
    earnings.
    7. Develop, review, and present statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence , crew
    utilization, etc.
    8. Coordinate and conduct meetings with other sections/departments covering scheduling, staffing
    and outages.
    9. Promote professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to standards.

    Minimum Requirements : Education: Bachelor Degree in a related technical field such as Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management and 3 years' experience; or an Associate Degree in a related technical field and 6 years' experience; or high school diploma and 10 years utility field experience.

    Experience: Candidates with a Bachelor Degree in a Business field, such as Accounting, Finance or Management will be accepted if they have at least 5 years of maintenance work scheduling or construction project scheduling experience or other relevant project controls experience .

    Shift is 1st from 8AM-5PM Rate of Pay: will be discussed
