This is a smaller locally owned business that is growing rapidly and they are looking to add about 5-10 associates in their packaging department.     These will be temp to hire only positions and this client will not be looking for anyone who is just wanting temp work.

    Job Description:
    In this position you will be rotated between a few different positions.
    Packaging-Packaging cheesecake into the plastic containers for shipping, this position requires good eye/hand dexterity as you will have to make sure you are placing the cheesecake in the center of the plastic plate then placing the lid on for shipping. As you can imagine an uneven cheesecake can look really bad to customers that are purchasing the product so this is where the eye/hand coordination comes in.
    Decorating-After you have been trained in decorating you could be doing various types of decorating examples would be dipping cheesecakes in chocolate, drawing, creating flowers or even writing words for special occasions.
    Sticker placing-In this position you would be placing the companies labels on the plastic containers after the cheesecake has been packaged. This requires a steady hand to make sure the labels are placed correctly. This also requires someone who can read and can use computers as you need to be able to update the orders in the computer and read the computer screens for the type and quantities of cheesecake that are in the orders.

    People who fit well in a position like this would have previous baking experience or cake decorating experience. Experience is not required but this client is looking for people who are motivated to learn and want to be part of their crew.

    Background and drug screen will be conducted and requires a clear drug/background check.
    Shifts currently available are night shifts from 3:45pm-2am sometimes longer with overtime.
    Night shift is currently paying $11.00 per hour with quick raises for performance/attendance within your first few months of working. (Must show strong work ethic and have perfect attendance).
    We pay weekly (every Friday).

    Responsibilities:
     Stock carts to ensure that enough equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
     Observe knocking procedures announcing "housekeeping" prior to entering a guest room in a voice loud enough that person in any part of the room will hear.
     Observe "Do Not Disturb" signage so guest preference is accommodated.
     Know linen re-use instructions and clean guest rooms according to guest preference.
     Thoroughly clean the guest rooms assigned in the time allotted. Ensure the amenities are properly stocked for each room.
     Complete housekeeping checklist.
     Report clean rooms for inspection.
     Report all damages, hazards, broken door locks, burned out light bulbs, broken furniture etc to supervisor.
     Restock cart for next day.
     Secure guest rooms doors upon exiting room.

     Turn in all lost and found items promptly.
     Do not throw away anything including loose papers, unless they are in the trash can, that are in the guests room. All items found in check out rooms, including papers, should be turned into lost and found.
     Be very careful with carts and all equipment to avoid damage to walls, furniture, carpets etc.
     Assist other housekeeping personal when needed.
     Be in proper uniform and properly groomed at the start of assigned shift.
     Report to work on time and as scheduled.

    Qualifications:
     Be able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form with employees and guests to respond completely to inquiries, give directions, provide instructions, answer questions and provide superior customer service.
     Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
     Bend, stoop, stretch, twist and reach to dust furniture, vacuum, clean bathrooms and mirrors, change and make beds.
