    Manpower is currently hiring a Jr. Marketing / Design Specialist to fulfill a temporary contract.

    Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM

    Pay: $19-$21

    Location: Southwest Calgary AB

    Summary of Key Responsibilities: (job functions include but are not limited to):
    *Able to execute successfully on regular engagements with project management workflow
    *Support with creation of promotional activities and performance tactics
    *Work effectively as part of a team to deliver projects on time
    *Assisting in developing designs, communications and / or marketing strategies

    Qualifications and Requirements:
    *Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing
    *+3 years' experience in the field of marketing
    *Superior IT and software skills
    *Excellent written and verbal communication
    *Candidates must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
    *Valid driver's license is an asset

    Position Overview:

    This is a Life Program Coordinator position with an emphasis on scaling the Google Out Of Office Program, which is a program helping Googlers enjoy fun activities and experiences with family and friends.

    Job Requirements:

    * Participating in event program planning and development, as well as design and/or carry out related research.
    * Oversee and manage partnerships with vendor companies and drive service improvements through data-based decision-making.
    * Work with vendor partners in ensuring guidelines are implemented and maintained at all times.
    * Develop and maintain strong and engaging relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and globally.
    * Collect and track various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, activity level and budget & spend.
    * Create marketing and comms for promotion of events and activities
    * Maintain a sites page with current information and graphics.
    * Provide a high standard of service for Googlers, including efficient response times and accurate information.

    What is the Job?

    * Responsible for ensuring compliance of the brand, standards and budgets for new stores, relocations and corporate facilities.
    * This will entail managing multiple Store Planning and Design projects, such as New Store Design, Relocations, Corporate Facilities, Store Concepts and Fixture development, with project activities including Consultant management, design programming, scheduling, contract documentation, tender processes, site visits, architectural detailing, construction clarifications, budgeting and internal approval processes.
    * You will also lead, or be part of, various departmental committees and initiatives such as Store Standard Details, Store Formats, researching and assessing products, cost analysis and prototypes.

    What you bring to the job?

    * Architectural design and project management skills obtained through an Interior Design, Architecture or Architectural Technology degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
    * Experience in design and construction, with exposure to Retail store planning and design being preferred.
    * Advanced technical skills and experience in design and construction are supplemented with a sound working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and/or comparable software.
    * Experience in project management, consultant management, and the tender process is enhanced by construction contract administration skills.
    * Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, as well as local and municipal by-laws for buildings and signage.
    * Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is your ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
    * Must be able to travel province-wide, with occasional overnight stays, and hold a valid Ontario driver's license.

    Day shift- 6:00am-3:30pm $11.50 an hour (paid weekly)
    Night shift- 3:45pm-1:15am $11.50 an hour (paid weekly) You will receive frequent raises based on your performance and attendance.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    You will be working in a fast paced production warehouse production fresh homemade cheesecakes (the freshest cheesecake in the PNW to be exact)! While working for this client you will be mixing ingredients, packaging/labeling individual cheesecakes, dipping cheesecake into melted chocolate, decorating cheesecakes for specific holidays, weighing cheesecake and any other crucial duties to ensure high quality product. QUALIFICATIONS:
    * Have the ability and willingness to follow instructions.
    * Be knowledgeable of safety.
    * Be able to communicate orally and/or in writing at a level to effectively complete the tasks of this position.
    * Be physically able to perform the work. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee:
    * Is required to sit, stand, walk, climb, talk, hear.
    * Have the ability to change positions, alternating between production lines that have conveyor belts.
    * Must be able to bend the body at waist level on a continuous basis to perform inspection of product
    * Must have good eye-hand coordination.
    * Is required to reach with his/her hands and arms repetitively.
    * Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds on continuous basis, and, on occasion, up to 40 pounds.
