    This is a smaller locally owned business that is growing rapidly and they are looking to add about 5-10 associates in their packaging department. This client likes to reward their associates with raises (see raise structure at the end of this ad)

    These will be temp to hire only positions and this client will not be looking for anyone who is just wanting temp work.

    Job Description:
    In this position you will be rotated between a few different positions.
    Packaging-Packaging cheesecake into the plastic containers for shipping, this position requires good eye/hand dexterity as you will have to make sure you are placing the cheesecake in the center of the plastic plate then placing the lid on for shipping. As you can imagine an uneven cheesecake can look really bad to customers that are purchasing the product so this is where the eye/hand coordination comes in.
    Decorating-After you have been trained in decorating you could be doing various types of decorating examples would be dipping cheesecakes in chocolate, drawing, creating flowers or even writing words for special occasions.
    Sticker placing-In this position you would be placing the companies labels on the plastic containers after the cheesecake has been packaged. This requires a steady hand to make sure the labels are placed correctly. This also requires someone who can read and can use computers as you need to be able to update the orders in the computer and read the computer screens for the type and quantities of cheesecake that are in the orders.

    People who fit well in a position like this would have previous baking experience or cake decorating experience. Experience is not required but this client is looking for people who are motivated to learn and want to be part of their crew.

    Background and drug screen will be conducted and requires a clear drug/background check.
    Shifts currently available are Day shifts 6:00am-4:00pm and Night shifts from 3:45pm-2am sometimes longer with overtime.
    Night shift is currently paying $11.00 per hour with quick raises for performance/attendance within your first few months of working. (Must show strong work ethic and have perfect attendance).
    We pay weekly (every Friday).
