    Are you a quality minded individual with a good eye for detail? A large pharmaceutical company in Allegan, Michigan is seeking a second shift Quality Control Components Auditor. The primary function of this position is ensuring quality standards for packaging materials are met by inspecting, sampling, testing, reviewing and releasing incoming batches of packaging materials. The job duties include but are not limited to:
    1 Ensuring documentation paperwork and case labels are accurate for incoming components. Contacts appropriate department for assistance when the needed information is either not present or is incorrect.
    2. Performing visual, dimensional, and functional-type testing on components per Package Engineering specification, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Work Instructions, and Job Aids.
    3. Performing incoming inspection on Pre-print using Proof-It software, Pantone Formula Guide, and Quantum plus Color System.
    4. Reviewing completed inspection forms and disposition components in SAP based on results.
    5. Ensuring damaged or rejected cases are quarantined and Split Batch Request Form is filled out correctly.
    6. Ensuring suspect components are held until authorization for release has been provided.
    Having a high level of accuracy is a must. To be considered for this role you must have a High school diploma or GED, with preference given to those with advanced education. Must possess an understanding of and ability to apply Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), General computer knowledge in order to understand required programs used. Ability to climb stepladder platforms for sampling purposes and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.     Alerts Supervision, Mechanics, Quality personnel to safety, quality and equipment performance problems when they occur.

Other responsibilities include assisting the Stability Program Lead with continuous improvement projects for the Stability programs at our client, such as extending the Boulder API retest dating of current and future API.
    * Obtain and maintain training on the Stability laboratory management system
    * Review of pertinent Stability documentation
    * Coordinate stability samples for testing and storage
    * Generate Stability reports
    * Perform Stability data trending
    * Complete year-end inventory of Stability samples
    * Destroy Stability samples as needed based on status of studies and protocols

    * Support the Annual Product Quality Review process as it relates to the Stability program
    * Support the QA Compliance group during audits and inspections and with continuous improvement projects
