    * At least 5 years of experience as the primary party responsible for negotiating business partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and other typical pharmaceutical strategic transactions.

    Essential Functions

    * Following set Manufacturing Instructions, SOP's and GMP's, assists compounders in tending mixing tanks, compounding kettles, various mills and mixers, pumps etc. that mix, com-pound and mill raw materials used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
    * Transfer raw materials from staging areas or compounding areas. Transfers bulk product from compounding to storage areas.
    * Assists in weighing out specified types and quantities of liquid or solid raw ingredients via automated dispensing systems or manual scales, according to formula.
    * Transfers completed batches via pump or gravity drop into proper containers for movement to storage or other production departments.
    * Proactively questions anomalies and utilizes opportunity for additional understanding of problem resolution.
    * Extracts bulk samples for laboratory analysis. May assist in the handling, dispensing and sampling of hazardous raw materials.
    * Assists in the daily cleaning/sanitization of kettles, mixers, pumps, utensils and compounding rooms.
    * Performs daily environmental monitoring according to schedule and SOP.
    * May assist in the weighing/mixing of sanitizing agents.
    * Completes required batch documentation records.

    Qualifications

    * Minimum 1 year experience working with chemicals in cGMP environment
    * Proficiency in a Dispensary environment, or equivalent
    * Solid English reading/comprehension skills required to understand detailed SOP, formula and Manufacturing Instructions
    * Working knowledge of Metric System.
    * Ability to comprehend cGMP's & SOP's and identify compliance or non-compliance with same
    * Ability to lift 50 lbs., wear and properly use a half or full-face respirator

    2. Poll electronic time clocks and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
    3. Contact various department supervisors for any missed times.

    Job Description
    The chosen Candidate will be responsible for the manufacture and packaging of Chemical Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients at the Wyandotte API manufacturing facility. Responsibilities : *Completes proper set up, operation, cleaning and maintenance of equipment per Standard Operating Procedures on a per shift basis. *Weighs, measures, and checks all raw materials, and ensures that manufactured batches contain the proper ingredients and quantities. *Maintains clear, accurate records and clean production areas in compliance with regulatory requirements, current good manufacturing practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.*Assist with in-process testing to ensure that batches meet product specifications. *Adheres to corporate/local EHS standards and contributes to improving the safety culture. *Creates and revises Standard Operating Procedures. *Operates distributed control system (DCS), including scheduling batches, executing phases, monitoring batch progress as per written instructions and responds appropriately to process upsets. *Ability to troubleshoot a majority of the plant's systems and equipment problems and proposes corrective actions. *Attends all required training and complies with all responsibilities associated with the operating technician position, as detailed in Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications : The ideal Candidate will have at least 1-2 years of Chemical/API plant experience. Candidates MUST have solid interpersonal skills supporting ability to work in a team environment and coordinate activities with other departments or outside vendors. Must have the ability to exercise judgment to solve operational problems where the answer is not apparent. Must be able to use a personal computer and various software packages. Must be able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision.
