    Manpower is looking for a Part/Time BOOKKEEPER centrally located in Barrie for 6 - 8+ weeks, 2 days per week. Are you ready to put your bookkeeping or accounting experience to the test?

    * $ 20/hr
    * Centrally located in Barrie, public transportation accessible
    * Receiving all incoming funds, invoicing and sending statements on a monthly basis
    * Collecting outstanding accounts and posting to appropriate accounts
    * Responsible for processing regular bank deposits and completing monthly receivables and bank reconciliation.
    * Responsible for processing all invoices,
    * Expenses and petty cash claims for payments and posting to appropriate accounts
    * Responsible for ensuring accounts are not overdue and discounts are taken when possible & complete monthly reconciliation
    * Previous accounting experience as a Bookkeeper, AP/AR Clerk or Junior Accountant
    * MS Office (primarily Excel)
    * Post - Secondary accounting Certificate/Diploma and minimum 1 -2 years' experience
    * Previous experience with computerized accounting programs (Great Plains would be an asset)
    * Self-directed, ability to work independently

    Manpower is currently in need of several candidates that have a passion and interest in working and assisting individuals from all walks of life to join our client based in the heart of Milwaukee.

    Position details are as follows:

    * Managing a caseload of participants in order to prepare them for work and provide supportive services to encourage job retention once employed.
    * One-on-One Meetings with clients
    * Track progress of participants and utilize both internal and proprietary systems/software to write case histories of the daily interaction with clients
    * Provide conflict resolution when necessary
    * Mentor participants in their transition from welfare to work
    * Keep accurate records in a timely manner
    * Track participant employment by communicating with employers and obtaining employment verification's for submission to the City of Milwaukee
    * Must ensure accuracy of all documentation
    * Strong administrative duties, filing and organizational skills
    * MUST have an engaging personality and enjoy working and assisting individuals providing
    Life skills, communications skills, job skills, etc…

    * Bachelor's Degree Required
    * Strong Customer Service, Strong written and verbal communication skills
    * Strong problem solving skills
    * Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
    * Ability to work in an open concept work environment

    * These are Full-Time Temp to Hire Positions-Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
    * Starting Pay Rate Ranges: $17.00-$20.00/hr. depending upon experience
