    Job Description

    In conformance with policies and procedures and working with University automated systems, procures approved services and goods required by Facilities staff to enable them to operate and maintain campus facilities and utilities. Processes accounts payable for services, and accounts receivable, including reimbursement claims. Monitors spending and revenue, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reconciliations, reports, and analyses. Provides general analytic and administrative support as required.

    Assist in preparation of budget estimates and monitor actuals against them. Work with facilities staff to specify goods and services required. Use the BuyWays system to issue purchase orders for good and services. Prepare required service contract documents and work with vendors to ensure these documents' timely and accurate completion. Work with vendors to fulfill orders for goods. Reconcile monthly credit card accounts. Process transactions in University PeopleSoft Finance system (budget adjustments, journal entries, accounts receivable, etc.).

    Minimum Qualifications
    High school diploma: associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred. Certified Bookkeeper designation preferred. Strong organization and independent working abilities, and ability to learn and apply required policies and procedures. Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, and in the use of finance/procurement database systems, knowledge of and experience with PeopleSoft database preferred. Strong, oral and written communication skills and ability to work well with people.

    * Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
