•Review application and account information with input into pertinent systems. •Develop sales plan and marketing campaigns with coordination of internal stakeholders. •Make cold calls. •Attend designated trade shows with detailed contact plan. •Follow up on assigned leads by email and phone. •Client visits and face to face meetings. •Work with operations on coordination of news sales and revision of existing sales. •Follow company policies and procedures. •Promote customer service and provide account management to existing accounts as assigned. •Develop and communication weekly and monthly sales reports. •Report on and manage KPI’s as they relate to open and closed sales, leads contacted, new sales won, strategically grown accounts. •Manage marketing initiatives with sales and marketing team. •Become competent in all food safety systems products and services. •Support other Business Development Managers (Sales) in the selling of FSS. •Familiar with company products and services. •Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. •Determine price schedules and discount rates with Operations Managers. •Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. •Assess marketing potential of new and existing store locations, considering statistics and expenditures. •Confer with potential customers regarding service needs and advise customers on types of services offered. •Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
•Apply good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate. •Demonstrate and promote the company vision. •Regular attendance and punctuality. •Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner. •Develop and conduct presentations for customers, potential customers, and industry. •Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by the company and it’s auditing clients. •Perform other duties as assigned.
•Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in food related or business/sales discipline. •Must have strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff. •Must be detail-oriented with documentation. •Must be self-motivated and have strong time management skills. •Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. •Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Must have excellent technical writing ability. •Must have the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly.
