    The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager. The supervisor is responsible for the daily activities in all production areas.     * Manage shift turnover communication and production reporting.
    * Conduct daily shift manager tours focused on Safety, Quality, Service and Efficiency by engaging each employee throughout the shift.
    * Assist in development of objectives for each employee with a Personal Development Plan for each employee relative to their personal goals.
    * Ensure all incoming employees (Internal and External) have proper training and tools to perform their job.
    * Ensure each employee understands and receives feedback on what is expected of them regularly.
    * Use Continuous Improvement tools (5 why/fishbone/Root Cause Analysis, etc.), to help steer team toward solutions to issues and cost saving(s) efficiency initiatives within your team.
    * Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Customer Service, Purchasing, Pest Control Operator, and Maintenance.
    * Any task as delegated by Manager or dotted line Manager.

    * Assists with start-up, troubleshooting, and correction of new and existing machine designs on the shop assembly floor. Follows-up on machine field experience to improve machines and machine design.
    * Evaluates and tests electrical components to determine proper selection relative to cost, machine requirements, and application.
    * Prepares and checks electrical diagrams and documentation for ease of understanding and interpretation by customer and in-house personnel.

    * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
    * 5+ years prior electrical design and PLC programming experience.
    * PLC programming and synchronized motion control experience.
    * Prior OEM and web converting experience a plus!
    * Strong writing skills
    * An understanding of mechanical machine design
    * Exemplifies strong planning/organizing, quality, efficiency, safety, dependability, adaptability, problem solving, and customer service capabilities.

    This company manufactures galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel HVAC pipe, duct, and the corresponding fittings for residential and light commercial HVAC Systems.
    The Production Employee will be expected to:
    * Correctly wear all provided PPE.
    * Be able to take direction.
    * Work at a safe and productive pace.
    * Be physically able to stand for 10 hours.
    * Accurately read a tape measure.
    * Be able to lift 50 lbs.
    * Be prepared to cross-train in several production areas.
    * Come to work on time every day.
    * Production areas may include manual and machine operated production cycles.
    The normal scheduled work week is 4 days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM. 2 paid 10-minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Employees are expected to be ready to work at their machines at 6:15AM. Must be able to tolerate heat during summer months.
