    This position is primarily responsible for the set-up of one or more CNC milling machines to perform machining operations on a variety of parts involving multiple machining or cutting operations. Frequent changeovers on a large variety of parts. Select and install tooling according to specifications and operation. Extensive use of blueprints, process plans, program sheets, holding fixture location diagrams, etc. to set-up and prepare machine for operation. Load work program. Run jobs and obtain first piece approval. Use precision measuring instruments to setup machine and check machined items. Make programming or tooling adjustments.

    2+ years experience setting up and operating CNC mill. Experience with lathes a huge plus.
    Haas or Doosan experience preferred

    Be able to read a tape measure

    Be able to convert metric and English units

    Be able to read and understand blue prints and assembly drawings

    Be able to use calipers, micrometers and height gage

    Comply with all safety procedures, postings and protocols

    Comply with all established ISO 9001 procedures

    May be required to perform additional tasks as assigned.

    Physical and Mental Requirements

    Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.

    Walking throughout the day.

    Standing in a place for 30-60 minutes at a time.

    Must have average visual acuity necessary to prepare and/or inspect products, operate machinery and read instructions.

    Must have hand/eye coordination with good hand dexterity; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts.

    - Manual and administrative duties related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and the distribution of materials, parts, and equipment.
    - Packaging - Boxing and Unboxing of materials and parts.
    - Basic Assembly with small hand tools and/or packaging,
    - Basic Computer Skills are needed, SAP/Systemic Transactions experience is helpful.
