    * Complete service orders to ensure that material and time is accurate to be billed, and closing the ticket so it can move to the billing department with the proper detailed note
    * Prepare service orders by studying all other documents by looking at inventory sheet, preferred vendor list and lock box info.
    * Update service orders with tech time, equipment and materials used, notes from customers, internal notes, and tech notes.
    * Document service orders by completing forms, reports, logs and records
    * Maintain customer confidence by expressing technical understanding of customer problems and needs by keeping service info confidential
    * Return all phone messages, emergency phone line through our answering service within 24 hours
    * Reply and resolve all emails within 24hours

    Part-Time Position

    Construction inspector for site development project, road projects and utility projects. Various locations in Morris county. MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE. MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

    -Construction inspectors ensure that construction meets local and national building codes and ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract specifications.
    -Review plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract specifications
    -Approve building plans that are satisfactory
    -Monitor construction sites periodically to ensure overall compliance
    -Use survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to perform inspections
    -Inspect plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure that they meet code
    -Verify alignment, level, and elevation of structures to ensure building meets specifications
    -Issue violation notices and stop-work orders until building is compliant
    -Keep daily logs, including photographs taken during inspections
    -Provide written documentation of findings

    Manpower is looking to hire a Supervisor (Foreman) to work for one of our construction clients in the NYC area. this is a 1-2 year temporary assignment.

    Job Title: Construction Foreman

    Location: New York, NY 10013

    Shift Time: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

    Duration: 12- 24+ months (potential to go longer)

    Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour

    SUMMARY:

    Supervisory position of temp staff at construction work sites

    Organizing staff and ensuring that tasks are completed on-time and in line with client specifications.

    Delegate responsibilities and make sure they are completed against the project timelines

    Formal training paired with experience in the industry

    Ability to direct, supervise and troubleshoot common issues that arise on the job

    Manage attendance and lateness with Manpower Team

    Possesses good communication and team working skills

    OSHA 10 is required. OSHA 30 is preferred.
