    Manpower is seeking a temporary Subcontracts Administrator for our client in Johnstown, PA . The qualified candidate will understand, as a Government contractor, the requirements around subcontracting to include:

    Primary Responsibilities:
    * Be extremely familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulation/ Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
    * Understanding contract types (CPFF,FP,T&M etc.);
    * Know how to read a Government solicitation and work with the proposal team to put together subcontractor RFP's;
    * Completing price and cost analysis (be comfortable with questioning proposed costs, thoroughly reviewing solicitation responses and independently work with the subcontractor to obtaining missing pieces of proposal responses);
    * Handling administrative questions for any existing awarded subcontracts (with support of the contract team);
    * Process subcontract modifications;
    * Issuing new subcontract awards in accordance with the Company approved purchasing system requirements;

    Basic Qualifications:
    * AA/AS degree in Business or Social Sciences, the Liberal Arts, or related academic field plus 6-8 years directly related experience, or BA/BS degree plus 4-6 years directly related experience, or MA/MS degree plus 2-4 years directly related experience.

    Midcon Cables is a leading supplier of electrical cable assemblies and harnesses for the Aerospace & Defense markets. Midcon is a preferred supplier to all major defense contracts that serve the US Department of Defense.

    This position requires someone experienced in cable harness assembly, related electronic or electrical manufacturing experience. These positions specifically include crimping, insertion, form boards, and general manufacturing skills. Soldering experience would be preferred as well. Applicants must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions, and possess detailed measuring skills. The individual must be organized, attentive to details, and have the ability to complete tasks quickly and correctly.

    The hours of work are Monday through Thursday 7:00 am -4:30 pm and Friday 7:00 am-11:00 am.
