    Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am - 1pm with potential to go full time.

    Pay is $17 to $18 per hour depending on experience.

    Manpower is currently recruiting for a Senior Strategic Advisor within the Energy sector. This position plays a key role in the development of the strategy and approach to a multi-year Framework and Plan.

    Specific accountability's include:
    * Support development of the next generation plan including preparation of the strategy, evidence development, interrogatory responses, hearing processes (written and oral) and implementation of the Board's decisions.
    * Support the Manager, DSM Strategy with internal and external stakeholder engagement, including building positive working relationships with intervener groups and participation in Consultative meetings; collaborating with internal functional groups such as Regulatory, Program Design, Program Delivery, Tracking & Reporting and Research & Evaluation; and engaging with and monitoring the company's activity.
    * Support the strategic decision making process of business units to ensure decisions appropriately consider the Guidelines and Decisions.
    * Monitor DSM submissions/filings and activity in other jurisdictions and communicate relevant information to business units as required. Participate in plan/strategy discussions of other utilities and perform primary and secondary research as required.
    * Oversee management of Strategy Projects as needed.
    * Manage relationships with consultants.
    * Maintain project related budgets and time lines.
    * Gain detailed understanding of implications of findings to inform strategic decisions and directional recommendations.
    * Present findings to stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    * University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Statistics preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

    * Ability to influence without authority.
