    * Property maintenance in an apartment complex(es)
    * Will include some driving in between properties
    * Preparing apartments for new tenants.

    o Painting

    o Repairs
    o Light plumbing

    What you bring to the job?

    Manpower of WV is hiring a Commercial Maintenance Technician for a busy real estate company in Charleston, WV. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity.


    Primary responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and updates of the general maintenance of the buildings and properties. This position requires skills in electrical, electronic, plumbing, carpentry, general maintenance, good planning, and follows up on job assignments.

    Job Duties:

    - Complete regular building inspections to check for quality control, looking for lights out, broken fixtures, bad carpet seams, floor repairs, and broken dispensers in all common area.
    - Work with HVAC and or system technicians when plumbing or electrical problems arise to help quickly remedy the problem.
    - Make repairs to any problem found or called in including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
    - Order light bulb inventory and keep proper stock amount in building or buildings.
    - Establish and update planned maintenance based on the manufacturer's recommendations on all systems.
    - Promote quality control and tenant comfort. Remember we are service oriented. Provide prompt and courteous service to our customers (our tenants).
    - Accountable for all General Maintenance Department tools/equipment. Responsible for sign out of tools/equipment.
    - Organize, maintain and ensure that the general maintenance shop areas and/or vehicle(s) are well stocked, tools/equipment is in place, and that the general condition of the area or vehicle is neat and clean.
    - Perform tenant requested maintenance as assigned by the Tenant Service Coordinator.
    - Handle other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Operations Managers.

    Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are required.
