    This position:

    This hands-on position will serve the companies employees in 2 locations in Colorado and West Virginia. The Human Resources Generalist is specifically responsible for:

    Labor Relations
    * Coach managers through employee relations issues
    * Ensure the consistent application of discipline and recommend employee discipline as required and termination when warranted

    Recruiting
    * Recruit for open positions as needed
    * Coordinate the hiring process and work with local managers as needed
    * Develop relationships with staffing agencies and utilize to fill positions as needed

    Payroll
    * Maintain the Human Resources portion of the HRIS system.
    * Submit changes to payroll
    * Process the bi weekly payrolls
    * Primary contact for ADP and responsible for maintaining the system

    Compensation
    * Manage the annual review process for salaried employees
    * Coach managers in the completion of reviews to ensure a consistent approach is used across all branches
    * Recommend salary increases based on the budgeted amount always striving to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness
    Policy administration
    * Communicate all policies and procedures with employees and managers in order to ensure the consistent application
    * Ensure the company is compliant with all state and federal laws; work with external legal counsel when situations warrant
    * Administer FMLA and other related leave programs
    * Challenge unemployment claims as appropriate

    Miscellaneous
    * Complete internal and external reports as required (i.e., headcount report)

    Requirements:
