    Ideal candidate will hold Bachelors degree (required) and have 3+ years of supervisor experience in construction of wireless or telecommunications buildings. Should understand quality standards and perform in-process checks and comfortable using technology to remotely monitor progress. Should be a great communicator, both written and verbal and able to work in the field if necessary. Must live in the geography of Battle Creek, mileage and travel time will be paid.     Job Summary
    The purpose of this position is to install and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, IP Video, Access Control systems and all related electronic security equipment in commercial and industrial environments and to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

    Essential Job Functions
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
    * Install Access Control, IP Video, Burglar Alarm, and Fire systems
    * Understands specifications as indicated in work order to complete the installation of commercial alarm systems
    * Prefer candidate with proficient knowledge of computer software, hardware, network infrastructure and IP schemes.
    * Utilizes a variety of hand tools to install equipment in locations as requested by customer or identified on work order.
    * Utilize technical skills to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagrams
    * Ensures worksite is clean after completion of job.
    * Loads inventory to ensure the necessary materials for assigned job is on the truck and transports to job site.
    * Tests installed systems following company protocols.
    * Provides necessary end user training for customers and their designees.
    * Take care of other tasks as needed to complete the installation.

    Requirements
    * High school diploma. Technical School Training a plus.
    * Minimum one year of experience installing Burglar Systems, and IP Video.
    * General knowledge of International Building Code, Life Safety Code and the ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Networking experience specifically with cable termination combination
    * A proficiency to install and program alarm security systems
    * Proficiency with running and pulling cable, programming and calibrating equipment while adhering to codes, regulations and standards
    * Ability to install program and trouble shoot wireless devices.
    * Able to climb ladders and manipulate hand tools.
    * Skill and ability to meet with customers and determine their expectations.
    * Ability to provide the necessary skills for troubleshooting a variety of systems.
